Disclaimer of Responsibility
Military sponsors can disclaim responsibility of a current or former family member by providing the Exchange a Disclaimer of Responsibility. The sponsor and family member social security numbers will be coded into the computer so that no Exchange will cash the family member's or former family member's check. The disclaimed individual can still use the Exchange as an authorized patron, but cannot cash checks.
