The steel frame features a double top tube and Sting-Ray inspired shapes, while the SmartStart geometry offers kids a better fit for a more stable, confidence-boosting ride. But we didn’t stop there. The fully functional suspension fork, re-imagined racing bucket-style saddle, and authentic Slik rear tire put a fresh twist on that classic 70’s Krate look. The single speed drivetrain, rear coaster (pedal) brake, and removable skate-style training wheels make this bike simple and intuitive for young riders to use. Like all Schwinn bikes, the Krate EVO comes with a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the bike. Teach your child to ride and make memories together with the Krate EVO.
