Overview

The Schwinn Grit is an ideal bike for the young beginner. It comes equipped with a parent push handle that actually steers the bike while your child learns how to steer and pedal, as well as removable training wheels. The removable handle allows parents to push and steer the bike while their child is still learning to ride and navigate. Includes convenient water bottle holder. The single-speed drivetrain is simple for young riders to use. A rear coaster brake, also called a pedal brake, provides intuitive stopping power. The quick-release seat post makes for easy tool-free adjustments, allowing the Grit to grow with your child. Just open the lever, adjust the seat height and close the lever again. It's that easy. The removable, heavy-duty training wheels provide support while your child learns to ride. The 12-in. wheels and wide street tires provide a comfortable, smooth ride. Model: S1292.
